Short CV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Andreas Georgantopoulos holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the Department of Public Administration at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, where he has also served as a postdoctoral researcher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also holds a master\u2019s degree and a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Accounting and Finance at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Georgantopoulos has taught courses in Financial Management, Greek Accounting Standards, and Sector-Specific Accounting at the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University. He has also lectured on Managerial Accounting, Financial Accounting, and Financial Reporting in the MBA program at the University of West Attica, in collaboration with the University of Kentucky. Additionally, he has taught the course “Presentation and Analysis of Financial Statements” in the postgraduate program “Philosophy and Management” at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), as well as Banking Management and Accounting and Finance for Business Executives in the postgraduate programs “Banking” and “MBA,” respectively, at the Hellenic Open University. Furthermore, he has delivered training on International Accounting Standards in professional development programs at Panteion University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Georgantopoulos has also held positions as Director at Metropolitan College, a regulatory compliance officer at Commercial Bank of Greece, and a Tax Advisor at the consulting firm KPMG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His research interests focus on corporate governance, tax avoidance, and dividend policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
