Requirements
The Postgraduate Program in Business Administration for Executives (Executive MBA) accepts applicants who hold a first-cycle degree from domestic Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) or equivalent institutions abroad.
A mandatory requirement for enrollment in the program is the successful completion of undergraduate studies by, at the latest, the September examination period of the enrollment year.
If this requirement is not met, the candidate cannot be enrolled in the program, even if selected.
The required documents are as follows:
- A completed and signed application form.
- A detailed CV including relevant professional experience.
- A copy of the degree certificate.
- An academic transcript with detailed undergraduate grades, including the final degree classification.
- Copies of publications in scientific journals, written works, etc., if available.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- A photocopy of the applicant’s ID card.
- A recent photograph (selfie), with the applicant’s full name written on it.
- For applicants with a degree from an institution abroad, the institution must be listed in the National Register of Recognized Foreign Higher Education Institutions of the Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center (DOATAP). Applicants must provide a Certificate of Place of Study issued and sent by the foreign institution (as per Article 304, Paragraph 4, Law 4957/2022, amended by Paragraph 2, Article 36, Law 5029/2023). If the place of study or part of it is certified as within the Greek territory, the degree is not recognized for enrollment in the postgraduate program unless the part of the studies conducted in Greece was at a public university.
- Proof of good knowledge of the English language (at least level B2) is required, demonstrated with a valid language proficiency certificate.
Candidates may be required to attend a personal interview, conducted via Skype, Microsoft Teams, Webex, or similar VoIP platforms.
Criteria
Students are admitted to the Executive MBA program at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA) based on the following criteria, taking into account the capacity to accept students (e.g., infrastructure, human resources):
- Academic performance, as reflected in the detailed grades of undergraduate courses contributing to the degree classification.
- Professional experience.
- Interview performance.
