Leadership in Action: Lessons from the Journey of Spyros Theodoropoulos

On Thursday, December 19, 2024, the Executive MBA of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) organized an exceptional online event featuring Spyros Theodoropoulos, Chairman of the Board of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), as part of its Business Events series.

The event aimed to inspire participants, provide practical insights into leadership and decision-making, and create an interactive environment for engagement with the speaker.

Students and alumni of the Executive MBA had the opportunity to draw inspiration from a leader who has significantly influenced the business landscape in Greece.

The event was opened by the Dean of the School of Economics and Political Sciences, Professor Nikolaos Hreioitis, who welcomed the students and alumni of the Executive MBA program.

Following this, the Director of the Executive MBA, Professor Dimitrios Vassiliou, introduced Spyros Theodoropoulos and gave a brief presentation of his impactful career.

Spyros Theodoropoulos, one of Greece’s most recognized business leaders, delivered an inspiring talk. The event concluded with a dynamic discussion between Spyros Theodoropoulos and the students and alumni of the NKUA Executive MBA.

The event focused on topics such as leadership, strategy, and personal development, aiming to facilitate the exchange of experiences and practical knowledge.

During the discussion, Mr. Theodoropoulos shared personal experiences and valuable lessons from his professional journey, highlighting critical skills and strategies that shape effective leaders in today’s business world.
