Leveraging Cultural Heritage in Business: Ancient Wisdom in Modern Global Markets

The Executive MBA event, titled “Revitalizing Heritage: Ancient Wisdom in Modern Markets,” took place with great success on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

The event was held at the Alkis Argyriadis Amphitheater in the Main Building of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, located at Propylaea, 30 Panepistimiou Street.

The General Secretary for Higher Education, Professor Odysseas-Ioannis Zoras, honored the event with his presence. The audience also included prominent figures from the academic and business communities, as well as students of the Executive MBA program.

Key Highlights

The program featured two insightful keynote presentations:

1. Eugenia Manolidou, Director of the School of Ancient Greek Studies “Elliniki Agogi,” delivered a presentation titled:
   “Ancient Greek: A Journey of Educational Reform.”
2. Peter Economides, Brand Strategist, presented on the topic:
   “Branding in Rhetoric: Lessons from Aristotle.”

The event was opened with welcoming remarks by:

• Professor Nikolaos Hreiotis, Dean of the School of Economics and Political Sciences.
• Professor Dimitrios Vasileiou, Director of the Executive MBA program.

Engaging Discussions

Following each presentation, an engaging discussion ensued, with students and participants posing thought-provoking questions. This interactive exchange of ideas enriched the overall experience for attendees.
