Dr. Evangelia Siahou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).

She holds a Ph.D. from the Athens University of Economics and Business, a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a bachelor’s degree in International and European Studies from Panteion University.

Dr. Siahou has extensive experience in higher education. Since 2016, she has also taught at the Open University of Cyprus, serving as a Coordinator for an MBA module.

In 2019, she was awarded the Faculty Excellence Award by the University of Liverpool, where she has been teaching postgraduate courses in Human Resource Management since 2017.

She has also taught at the Hellenic Open University as an adjunct faculty member and at the Hellenic American College, where she served as Director of the General Education Program and Academic Affairs, as well as Coordinator of Undergraduate Programs in Business Administration.

Her primary research focuses on Human Resource Management and the management of knowledge and innovation within organizations and businesses. Her articles have been published in international academic journals, and her research papers have been presented at various European and international academic conferences, such as the European Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, and British Academy of Management.

In 2015, she received the Emerald Literati Network Highly Commended Paper award, and in 2019, she was honored with the Emerald Literati Network Outstanding Paper award.

In the past, she worked in the Strategic Planning Department of the ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games and in the Human Resources Department of the CDE under the European Commission in Brussels.
