Major ALCO Survey: Public Perception of Public Universities and NKUA

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) has published a large public opinion survey capturing citizens’ views on higher education and the country’s most historic and largest university.
The survey findings reaffirm NKUA’s leading position, as also reflected in its top rankings in international evaluations.
Furthermore, they highlight the significant positive impact the university has across Greek society as the first-established and largest academic institution in the country.
Key findings demonstrate NKUA’s strong position across all indicators of recognition and prestige (78%), quality of education (76%), and the reputation of its degrees (74%).
