Welcome Event for New Students of the Executive MBA 2024-2025

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, the Welcome Ceremony for the new postgraduate students of the Executive MBA program at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA) took place in the Grand Hall of the University’s Central Building at the Propylaea (30 Panepistimiou Street).
The event began with an inspiring speech by the Dean of the School of Economics and Political Sciences, Professor Nikolaos Hreiotis, who warmly welcomed the students.
The Dean highlighted the students’ integration into the academic community of UoA and emphasized the significant opportunities offered by Greece’s oldest and largest academic institution.
The Head of the Department of Business Administration and Organizations, Professor Dimitrios Thomakos, extended a warm welcome to the students, stressing the Department’s, University’s, and School’s academic achievements, as reflected in international rankings.
Finally, the Director of the Executive MBA program, Professor Dimitrios Vasileiou, provided a detailed presentation on the structure and content of the program.
The Director, along with the program’s faculty, subsequently offered important information, clarifications, and advice to students regarding the program, the use of the e-class platform, and the development opportunities available through the program.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, where students shared their questions and suggestions.
After the event, students had the chance to meet their professors and classmates during a small reception held in the atrium of the Propylaea, fostering interactions in a friendly atmosphere.
An exciting journey full of opportunities for growth and success has begun!
