Konstantinos Challoumis holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Athens (UoA).

He also holds multiple master’s degrees, including an MSc in Physics and Modern Technologies from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, an MPhil in the Philosophy of Economics from UoA, an MSc in Mathematical Modeling of Financial and Applied Technologies from NTUA, an MSc in Public Law and Public Administration from UoA, and an MSc in Advanced Computing Systems Technologies from the University of West Attica.

His academic background is further supported by several bachelor’s degrees, including:

His work has been featured in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Risk and Financial Management, Economics and Culture, and others.

Professionally, Dr. Challoumis has worked across several sectors. He has served as a lawyer specializing in civil, commercial, and public law, and as an economist and engineer focusing on electrical and mechanical engineering, software development, and technical consulting.

He has provided advisory services to both public and private sector organizations, including in the energy and telecommunications industries.

His current research focuses on financial accounting, financial statement analysis, tax avoidance, and cost accounting, with particular emphasis on the implementation of accounting systems in both public and private sectors.
