Dr. Dimitrios Pardalis holds a PhD in Business Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He also holds an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management and the Athens University of Economics and Business, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business. In addition, he holds professional certifications, including Data Protection Officer (GDPR DPO) and Scrum Master.
He has been teaching as a Visiting Lecturer at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens since 2006, and has also taught at the Hellenic Open University and the Open University of Cyprus. His teaching and research interests focus on accounting, project management, corporate governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and organizational transformation.
He has over twenty years of professional experience in senior management positions within the financial and insurance sectors.
He has served as Director of Strategic Partnerships at Generali Hellas and as Director of Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) at Ethniki Insurance S.A., where he led major digital transformation and organizational restructuring initiatives. Previously, he held positions of responsibility in the areas of regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and internal audit.
He currently works as an independent consultant, providing strategic advisory services to organizations on organizational transformation, project governance, and management effectiveness. He is also a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the academic journal The Review of Financial & Accounting Studies, and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Hellenic Compliance Association.
